Add Banana-Coconut smoothie to your menu list!

Fruit smoothies are very easy to make and you can have them at anytime too. Smoothies are great for breakfast or you use a water-based smoothie as a snack.

Fruit smoothies provide essential vitamins and minerals to boost the body immune system. Drinking fruit smoothies can help you reach the recommended intake of fiber. The soluble fiber found in fruit helps slow digestion and may help control blood sugar and lower cholesterol. The best way to know the exact ingredients in your smoothie is to make them yourself. All you need is a blender, fruit and a base, such as water, milk or yogurt. Do you know that you can lose or maintain healthy weight by taking smoothies?

You can experiment and try out different smoothies. Here is how to make a Banana-Coconut smoothie:

– I cup of coconut milk
-2 ripe bananas
-3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream/yoghurt
-2 teaspoons of honey( optional)


Peel banana and cut into large chunks.
Simply blend coconut milk, ice creams, bananas and honey in a blender until smooth.
Add more milk to make it thinner.
Add ice cubes to make it chilled.
