Debbie ‘Pinki’ Odumewu breaks Guinness World records for longest dance marathon

Nigerian professional dancer,  Odumewu Debbie, a.k.a Pinki Debbie has joined other Nigerians like Kaffy Shafau and DJ Obi to appear in the Guinness book of world records.

Debbie, who just broke the record for the longest dance marathon which was previously held by an Indian woman, Kalamandalam Hemaletha, danced 123 hours 15 minutes.

She danced for over 124 hours as at 12:00am on November 23rd, 2017. and is still dancing. She will be ending the challenge by 4pm on November 23rd, 2017.

Debbie, who is a graduate of policy and strategic studies from Covenant University, started honing her dance skills at the age of 6.

According to her, she is inspired by her mother who has been supporting her from day one.
