By Yemisi Suleiman

Sequins are one of the hottest looks of the season and right in time too, with the party season already on us. Designers are  still very much into the bright and bold look as metallic, sequins and everything glittering hit the runways in a big way at the recently held GTBank Fashion Weekend .
From Julien MacDonald to Tracy Reese the emphasis was on shine and really, what better way to make a statement in the new season?
Here are three modern ways to rock the trend.

Glittery Sequin Top Or Jacket
If head-to-toe glitter is too much for your liking, a glittery metallic jacket, worn on the shoulders, is stylish and edgy, an excellent option for those looking to add a little sparkle to their outfits Tuxedo pants are ideal with sequined tops. Add a black clutch purse, colourful pumps or sequined flats. You can also get in the party mood with a black jacket that has sequined details and wears your hair loosely for added edge.
