Life after 5 star music: I’m doing better,making money – Singer, Harrysong speaks

“Reggae blues” crooner, Harrison Okiri, better know by his stage name Harrisong, spoke about his career progression after leaving his former the record label, Five Star under controversial circumstances in 2017, to set up his own called Alter Plate.
Five star music record label is managed by brothers, Emeka Okonkwo(E-money) and Kingsley Okonkwo(KCee).
In an interview with HIP TV, the singer said he has been making money, playing shows and doing pretty well since he made the decision to walk out of Five Star.
He said: “It’s been amazing since I left Five Star. We’ve been doing great work. We’ve been making money, playing shows.”
Speaking on the quality of Nigerian songs, Harrysong said that there has been growth as he rated the present output as average compared to the below par level of the past.
He said: “It’s[quality lyrics] coming up. It’s even doing good. It’s better than the other times when we just had shayo and bum bum.
“Have you heard? Davido is doing some parables and some things that are happening in Nigeria.
“From 20-30 percent we were before, we are now at 50-60 percent”
