National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria, (AGN) Ejezie Emeka Rollas has appointed seasoned actor and pioneer member of the guild, Gentle Jack as the new chairman of the national task force.
His appointment came as a result of reports about poor welfare and various ill treatments meted to actors during filming.
Subsequently, careful selections of members were made to serve as national task force officers with the mandate to enforce some of the body’s rebranding welfare packages for members nationwide.
Rollas charged the newly constituted members of the task force to ensure strict compliance with the rules of the guild without fear or favour as actors are no beggars. “They must be treated with dignity.”
Gentle Jack is a legendary Nollywood actor, director, producer, television personality, bodybuilder and a philanthropist.
