Smagogoa holds AGM/ Thanksgiving

It was a busy weekend for old girls of the prestigious, St Maria Goretti Girls Grammar School, Benin City, Edo State last weekend as the 19th AGM took place.

Old girls from across the nation converged in the ancient city to elect new officers to run the affairs of the association.

Ojeme Ewhrudjakpor emerged as the new National President. She will lead a nine-man EXCO for the next two years.

SMAGOGA led by its outgoing National President, Dame Victoria Ekhomu donated a block of classrooms, and erected new fence and gate as part of their educational intervention to their Alma Mata.

The AGM came to a climax with a thanksgiving service at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Benin City.
