The Association of Professional Party Organisers and Event Managers of Nigeria, (APPOEMN), kicked off their annual Conference yesterday, Thursday, September 27, 2018 with a Master Class.
It was a gathering of top, notable party and event planners in Nigeria at the exquisitely decorated Shell Hall of Muson centre, Lagos, which was followed by an after party themed “Wild Wild West” at Victoria Island.
The Master Class offered time for members and intending members of the Association to reconvene, network, have lunch and discuss issues and opportunities in the event industry with the theme “Collaboration”.
The Facilitators emphasised on networking, collaborations, maintaining good relationship with target audience, having unique selling point, trustworthiness, amongst others as a must -have qualities to take a brand higher.
Some of the speakers are Yemi Amuson, Ferdinand Ibezim, Nelly Agbogu.
The 3 day event known as ‘The Event Industry Conference (TEIC) 2018’ will also have a seminar and dinner and awards night, respectively.
The President of APPOEMN, Ms Gbemisola Ope, stressed that the industry has come to stay as it continues to contribute to the Nigeria’s economy directly, as well as provide employment for Nigerians in the different fields of the economy.
