Airline operations, which was grounded at the International terminal of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMA), Lagos,  for the past two days  due to power outage has returned to normal,

According to a report by Channels TV, the General Manager, Public Relations, Mr. Yakubu Datti had in a statement issued on Monday explained that the repairs had been carried out on the affected transformer and light is now restored.

The airport was without light for two days, on Saturday and Sunday following a power surge which damaged a major transformer at the airport and the power outage had affected international operations of airlines flying in and out of the airport.

The Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos is the nation’s busiest airport for both local and international flights.
