What was meant to be a joyous occasion graduated to state of confusion. A wedding reception ended abruptly after the bride took to her heels during the ceremony.
The bride confessed that she was no longer interested in the hours-old marriage and ran out of the wedding reception in the full glare of everyone present.
According to reports, the runaway bride was chased by her husband and other family members. This drama unfolded at Udu Local Government Area of Delta state ( Orhunwhorhun road precisely)last weekend. Reports revealed that the bride refused to heed the groom’s pleas to reconsider the marriage at stake.
