The runway show opened with international designer, Tonia MacDonald, who thrilled the audience with the most glamorous evening dresses ever; a breathless collection of shimmering dresses in gold, black and some in form of shimmering adire fabric that came with thigh high silts, mini and asymmetric cuts. Organised by GTBank as a means to empower small business owners as well as contributing it’s quota to the development of the Fashion Industry in Nigeria, the event was attended by the who’s who of the fashion fraternity with the top notch fashion houses putting their work on display.
With just six designers participating in the runway shows, and MacDonald raising the bar with his opening yesterday, we look forward to a fantastic day two show today, and hope for nothing but the best from showcasing designers.
