While some spent New Year’s day at home with friends and loved ones, others went to hang out or for shows. Nollywood diva, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and her husband, Captain Mathew Ekeinde spent theirs with the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion.
They were hosted by the Esama in the city of Benin. It was a time for merriment and selfies. An excited Omotola wrote:
