Nollywood actress and producer, Kemi Afolabi and her crew were violent harassed by thugs recently while on a movie set in Ikorodu.
The thugs (popularly known as Omo Onile) disrupted the set and one of them allegedly laid hands on Kemi and punched her in the stomach causing her injuries. This was because the thugs were not given the money they had demanded for.
You will recall that this is not the first of this kind of harassment, as another actress, Omoni Oboli had complained about the same harassment some time ago.
Now, Nollywood actors and actresses are coming out en-masse to voice their grievances concerning the situation on social media.
They are calling on the relevant authorities to provide better security whenever they are on set.
