Reality TV star, Kim Kardashian West pulling a Jackie Kennedy look is upsetting people

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is already used to getting mixed reactions from people and it was no different, when her latest cover, for Interview magazine, where she dressed up as iconic former US first lady, Jackie Kennedy, debut online.

Kim appeared on the new cover of the magazine with her daughter, North by her side above the headline, “America’s New First Lady.”

On the cover, Kim’s hair is styled like Jackie Kennedy’s in a blown-out bob, and she’s wearing elbow-length white gloves and high-necked shift dress. North wore her hair in pigtails and had a cute dress.

The photo obviously drawing visual comparisons between Kim and the former First Lady.

Reactions to the shoot on social media are mixed. Some people loved it with comments like “OMFGGGGG WAIT THIS IS ICONIC!!!!!!” and “Omg, North is so grown up and so beautiful!! And you look AMAZING! “

While others were upset with the comparison with Jackie Kennedy and made it known with comments like; “Jackie O turning over in her damn grave right now.”

Another Twitter user wrote; “Oh please. You will never be no Jackie or First Lady. STOP.”

A more lengthy response was “Very disappointed with Janet Mock comparing Kim Kardashian to Jacqueline Kennedy. There is no comparison, Jackie O was a class act.“

Meanwhile, in the interview, Kim talked about a lot of different things in the interview, including the fact that she usually goes to her husband Kanye West for advice about her brand, life, and image, but goes to her friend, publicist Tracy Nguyen Romulus, for other advice.
