HM deletes pictures after backlash from using a Black child model to promote hoodie with racial insult

Multinational clothing-retailing company Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has deleted a controversial photo, which led to it being dragged on social media.

The photo (below) showed a black child model being used to promote a hoodie with the inscription, “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle“.

The jumper is one of many variations but the question asked the most is why the black kid was made to promote the very one with a racial insult.
