American diva, Beyonce buys old church in New Orleans

American music sensation, Beyonce aka Queen Bey as she is fondly called, just bought an old century church in New Orleans, Louisiana.

According to reports, the stone structured , 7,500 sq.ft house of God, which was listed at $850,000, was built more 100 year ago, in the early 1900s but has been inactive due to passing away of its church members.

Apparently, this is not the first time that Beyonce is making headlines because of a church. Few weeks ago, Grace Cathedral in San Franscisco held its first ‘Beyonce Mass’ with the service including her solo songs and Destiny’s child anthem.
