How to plan your bridal shower

Your wedding date has been fixed already. Planning for your bridal shower should not be a big deal. You should allow your friends and family members have control over planning it. However, if you want to give directions or want them to note some agenda, here is what to consider:

1. The hosts

Most bridal showers are hosted by the bride’s close friend. A relative  or co-worker may offer to play host too.

2. Attendees

It is usually the bride’s close friends and relatives that attend. The size of the guest list is up to the bride. Don’t invite anyone you wouldn’t invite to the wedding.

3.Purpose

Why have bridal shower? It is pre-wedding tradition that allows you to bond and socialise with family and friends. You should have games and make provision for food and drinks.

4. Timing

Bridal showers should be done two to six months before the wedding. Keep it spaced out from your wedding date.

5. Vote of thanks

The bride should send thank you notes to all her guests and it should be personalised.
