Tennis star, Serena Williams claims she is inspired by the victory of Tiger Woods winning the Masters, 11 years after he won one.

The 37-year-old stated this in a reaction to Woods claiming his 15th major at Augusta National, a feat that has been recorded as the greatest comeback story in the history of sports.

The golf superstar, 43, last won a major at the 2008 US Open before his career was threatened by injury and personal problems.

In a tweet, the 23 grand slam title winner said: “I am literally in tears watching @TigerWoods this is Greatness like no other. Knowing all you have been through physically to come back and do what you just did today? Wow Congrats a million times! I am so inspired. Thank you buddy.”

Serena is currently preparing for the 2019 French Open coming up from Sunday, May 26 to June 9.
