Ahead of the swearing in of the new political dispensation, the outgoing governor of Lagos Akinwunmi Ambode has officially handed over the state government to the governor-elect Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Ambode shared this on Instagram on Tuesday, ahead of the official inauguration on Wednesday, May 29th.
He wrote:
“To the Glory of God, I have just handed over the reins of government in Lagos State to His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after a rewarding 4-year experience. This would not have been possible without the support, cooperation and prayers of all Lagosians. I remain eternally grateful to you all. God bless you all. And to God be all the Glory.”
