‘Another free Promo’, Naira Marley Reacts To Court Order Demanding His Immediate Arrest

Nigerian musician, Adeyemi Fashola, popularly known by his stage name as Naira Marley on Monday evening reacted to the court order demanding for his arrest over alleged car theft.

Recalls that Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias of the Tinubu Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city on Monday, December 16 ordered the arrest of Naira Marley over a car theft-related offence.

The Chief Magistrate in his fresh order against the Nigerian artiste who had been on the spotlight in recent times, ordered that the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sgt. Sunday Idoko, handling the case of Naira Marley must present the artiste in court on the next date of adjournment, slatted for December 21.

A Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city on Monday ordered that popular Nigerian musician, Adeyemi Fashola, popularly known by his stage name as Naira Marley should be arrested and arraigned over alleged car theft.

The chief magistrate, Mr Tajudeen Elias, ordered that the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), Sgt. Sunday Idoko, handling the case must present Naira Marley in court on the next date of adjournment.

However, while reacting to the order demanding his arrest, Naira Marley took to the microblogging site, Twitter to ridicule the cause for his arrest.

In his tweet, Naira Marley wrote; “Car theft? maybe I need to post my Bentley, Porsche or benzo.

“If you lot like try stain my name from today till tomorrow I will still be the next president and who’s Adeyemi Fashola aka Naira Marley. Another free promo I’m guessing.”
