FFK Pays Tribute To Mother 19 Years After Death

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has penned a beautiful tribute to Adia Aduni Fani-kayode, his late mother, 19 years after her demise.

In a post on his social media page on Monday, the former minister revealed how his late mother taught him virtues of faith and courage to navigate through challenges of life.

He added that Aduni’s influence has helped him in grooming his children, particularly in teaching them about God.

“My beautiful mother, Chief (Mrs.) Adia Aduni Fani-Kayode. Not one day passes that I do not remember you or think about you. You were my life and you still live on in my heart and in the hearts of all your loved ones and those you showed so much love and kindness to,” he wrote on Instagram.

“…I learnt the virtues of faith and courage, even in the face of challenges and adversity, from you and I have held fast to them ever since. I also learnt about the power of compassion and mercy from you. You were simply an angel and far too good for this world and this is why the Lord continues to bless your legacy every day.

“You have 12 beautiful grandchildren now who would be very proud of and those of us you gave birth to, though spread all over the world are doing well.

Your faith in the Living God and in your children has been vindicated. I love and miss you Mama mi. I always will. Continue to rest in perfect peace.”

The ex-minister’s mother breathed her last in 2001.
