Falz Imprisoned In ‘Quam’s Money’ Trailer

Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana better known as Falz, is set for his debut role as lead cast in ‘Quam’s Money’, a forthcoming film by Inkblot.

The 30-year-old took to his social media page on Thursday to share a trailer teaser of the project while expressing his excitement about featuring in the film.

The movie, directed by Kayode Kasum, follows the story of Quam (Falz), a security guard, and his sudden rise to opulence after getting N300 million.

The less than one-minute video showed the rapper in different contexts from living a flamboyant life to being imprisoned.

According to him, the project is a collaborative work involving House21 TV, his movie and television production company, Inkblot and FilmOne.

He added that the project billed to hit cinemas on December 11 will be the first feature film to be produced by his movie company.

“This is @House21_TV‘s first feature film and we are excited to be collaborating with @InkblotPresents and @filmoneng. Also, this is my first ever lead role in any movie. #QuamsMoney is hitting all cinemas on December 11th 2020,” he wrote on Twitter.

‘Quam’s Money’ is a sequel to ‘New Money’, a 2018 film by Inkbot, which examined Toun (Jemima Osunde), a young fashion designer, who discovered her billionaire father left behind a huge fortune for her.

The film features several movie stars including Nse Ikpe-Etim, Williams Uchemba, Toni Tones, Jemima Osunde, Blossom Chujwukewu and Michelle Dede.
