UK’s ‘I’m A Celebrity’ Reality Show Features Mo Farah, Shane Richie, Victoria Derbyshire

Mo Farah, a UK-based runner; Shane Richie, English actor; and Victoria Derbyshire, a journalist, are among those heading to a Welsh Castle to take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’, a British TV reality show.

According to BBC, Farah, Richie, and Derbyshire will be joined by Beverley Callard, an actress; Vernon Kay, a presenter; and AJ Pritchard, a former dancer-choreographer, for the reality show set to kick off on November 15.

In the show, which was first created by the factual programmes department of ITV’s London Weekend Television (LWT), celebrities live together in a jungle for weeks competing to be crowned “King” or “Queen of the Jungle”.

For its forthcoming edition, it is understood that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the contestants aren’t going to the Australian Jungle as usual as this year’s series had been relocated to the Gwrych Castle in Abergele in Wales.

Others also signed up to compete on the show are Hollie Arnold, a British parasport athlete; Giovanna Fletcher, an author; Jordan North, a radio host; and Jessica Plummer, an English actress.

The first episode of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ had aired on August 25, 2002, and was hosted by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly who are also known as Ant and Dec.

The show, which is produced by ITV Studios, has now been licensed globally to countries including the United States, Germany, France, Hungary, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Romania, Australia, and India.
