Tiger Woods has returned home from the hospital after suffering multiple leg fractures in a horrible traffic accident in Los Angeles last month.
Following the wreck in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, February 23, the 45-year-old underwent surgery for open fractures in his lower right leg as well as bruises to his foot and ankle.
Woods paid a special tribute to the medical personnel who handled him in a statement on Twitter, and announced that his rehabilitation would begin at home.
“I am proud to say that I am back home and beginning my recovery,” Woods wrote. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and inspiration I’ve got in recent weeks.
“Thank you to the amazing surgeons, physicians, nurses, and support personnel.
