The list features 16 categories, with ladies who have largely impacted society through their commitment and leadership.

Voting has officially begun and can be done on the ELOY website www.eloyawards.com. It closes on November 15th 2021.

Exquisite Magazine has vetted the nominees based on the nominations by the public and the fulfillment of the ELOY Awards criteria.
The ELOY Awards celebrates and recognises women of excellence in different fields so as to inspire, motivate, support and educate other women to become the best versions of themselves. “This also serves as a networking platform for women to grow and build their brands.”
This year’s event will kick off with The ELOY Conference which will hold on the same day in the morning with keynote address by the Hon Commissioner for Women affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hon. Cecilia Dada and Special address by Mrs Owen Omogiafo President / GCEO Transcorp PLC.
According to the founder of The ELOY Awards Foundation Mrs Tewa Onasanya, the focus of the ELOY Awards this year is to highlight the fact that when one woman wins, it inspires other women to win and increases the chances of other women winning.

Asides recognizing Nigerian outstanding women, their achievements and roles in the society, the aim Onasanya says, is also to increase the economic visibility of women in Nigeria, to create a platform for networking, hence enhance communication links to encourage women into businesses and to support the work being done by Nigerian women to improve themselves and Nigeria.
” This event is also being used as a platform to continue to increase the awareness for cervical cancer which kills one woman every hour in Nigeria.” she noted.

On the impact of the ELOY Awards so far, Onasanya says “The ELOYs have been awarded to 205 women to date, who have gone on to be better at what they do. We have been able to enroll 40 women in MSME’s onto the ELOY Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program (SEP) that started in 2020. These small business owners were mentored for a period of six months and they had access to entrepreneurial trainings every month. 10 of them were awarded a grant.”

The anticipated ELOY Awards night is set to hold on November 26th 2021, at the Four Points Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
