Award-winning Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has donated an ultra-modern recording studio to the music department of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.
The singer announced the donation in a post shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, shortly after the project was commissioned.
The 46-year-old appreciated the management of the institution for earlier inducting him into its school of music.
For someone who had always wished he had music as a course in his days in secondary and tertiary schools, 2Baba further revealed that his goal is to build a recording studio in as many schools as he can.
Next in line, according to him, is to build a similar studio at the Benue State University (BSU).He urged his friends in the entertainment industry and celebrity friends to do anything they can to grow the industry as well.
