Jandor alleges Lagos government of frustrating PDP’s campaign

Dr. Olajide Adediran, the PDP’s candidate for governor in Lagos State, has claimed that the Lagos State government is frusrating his efforts to win the election.

Adediran, better known as Jandor, said that the party’s hired advertising agency had returned the money paid to them on the grounds that the state government had ordered it.

Jandor revealed this in an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday. He asserted that billboard businesses are returning his money and that they have been requested not to advertise for him.

However, the contesting governor added that despite the purported conspiracy of the Lagos administration, arrangements have been made to ensure that he sells both his and his running mate, actress Funke Akindele, to Lagosians.

“The moment that of Afromedia happened in Falomo here, I placed a call through to the Lagos police commissioner myself and I said to him, ‘CP, this just happened. It was removed.’ We didn’t even know, we thought it was the hoodlums who removed it. “We will continue to paste our posters. Last week on the Third Mainland bridge, which is even a Federal Government road, our people put some A4 boards. They were removing it in broad daylight. After paying for all of these things. We won’t allow this, we will find a way to put our campaign materials out there.”
