Adesua Etomi, wife of singer-turned-politician, Bankole Wellington, commonly known as Banky W, has said that she was first disturbed when her husband revealed his political ambitions.
She revealed this in a recent HipTV interview. According to the mother of one, the two of them had to discuss her concerns on multiple occasions.
Etomi stated that her concerns subsided when she realised he was pursuing a higher purpose.
When Banky said he was going into politics, I was a little bit worried.
I spoke about this many times before but I also believe that purpose is more important than fear.
I want to see him prove purpose, so he has my support, 100 percent.
The couple married in November 2017 and welcomed a son in 2020.
In June 2020, the politician opened up about how his marriage to Etomi went through difficult times the year he entered politics.
He stated that the outcome of the 2019 election impacted his relationship, especially after he and Adesua lost their first pregnancy, which was a set of twins.
