Relationship coach hosts Christian singles, couples retreat

Joan Anuoluwa Ologundudu, a family life practitioner/ Relationship coach recently held a hybrid hangout/retreat for Christian singles and couples.

The event was for members of a growing community with members across Nigerian states, Canada, Rwanda, the Czech Republic, the UK and the US, with the intent of promoting healthy family life practices within homes and preparing singles to make informed marital choices.

Speaking, Joan Anuoluwa Ologundudu, host of the programme observed that there is a huge knowledge gap when it comes to relationship intelligence.

She noted that meetings such as this are organised for participants to gain more knowledge about their relationships.

“There are so many opportunities in such meetings, like defining identity, the importance of relationships, living to serve God, loving as Christ loved us, chasing what matters, Jesus was single, dating and marriage in today’s world, etc.

“Some persons have gained knowledge but lack sufficient wisdom to understand the application of knowledge to real-life situations, hence the need for such retreats.

“The family institution is responsible for producing the quality of humans who in turn go into other social institutions. If the family institution is not producing the right kind of people, social institutions will suffer the brunt of it,” Ologundudu said.

Attendees of the programme thanked the organiser for the eye-opening session.
