Glamour as Afro Fusion brand ‘Irawo’ opens new studio

Afro-fusion womenswear brand Irawo recently opened up shop in Osborne, Ikoyi, Lagos, broadening its horizons. Since its incorporation in 2021, the brand has constantly supplied stunning African pieces to customers worldwide. Richly coloured pieces that were ultra-feminine and contemporary were on display at the new studio’s opening. The majority of the pieces were made of adire.

Abby Ikomi, Creative Director of Irawo Studio, stated that the new location was a long-desired idea for a cosier atmosphere. “I have always had the vision that at some point I was going to have my own space, strictly for the Irawo brand and our high-end clientele. Which is why this place is set up.”
The well-attended event was witnessed by celebrities, fashion enthusiasts, as well as clients who came to felicitate with the brand.
