The recently concluded Goge Africa’s 25th anniversary in Lagos, Nigeria’s de facto fashion capital, was an open vista on a set of fast-rising creative designers, among whom was Odedina Adedamola Moyosore, the creative force behind the designer outfit, M. Collection.

The colourful artistic and entertaining event also launched the Face of Goge Africa (FOGA) 2024.

The event attracted participants from the movie industry, music, comedy, fashion, arts, and tourism sectors, along with diplomats, government officials, and esteemed brands, creating an electric atmosphere of unity and cultural pride.

The warm reception accorded to M.Collection’s African print designs, further amplified Moyosore’s growing reputation for creating exclusive casual and ready-to-wear dresses for male and and female alike.

Odedina Adedamola Moyosore is a Mass Communication graduate from Babcock University who despite his academic background has a burning passion for fashion which led him to explore the world of garment making and design.

Moyosore has worked with various designers and participated in numerous exhibitions and fashion shows, including Fashion Fusion, a UK pop-up event held at the Bullring and Grand Central in Birmingham City.

“When a client expresses genuine satisfaction with my work, appreciates my creativity and acknowledges the value I added to their project, it gives me a sense of fulfilment.

Successfully tackling a challenging project or overcoming a creative block is also a source of my personal satisfaction. Receiving awards or recognition for my work from industry peers and organizations also gives me great satisfaction, knowing your work is being rewarded,” he gushed in an interview.

With its success on runways and other fashion shows still reverberating loudly in the fashion world, there is no doubt that M.Collection has come of age and is ready to take on the world.
“We are looking to fully expand our brand beyond Nigeria.

This expansion will open up new opportunities. Our signature style is Afrocentric. A fusion of African and Western flavour. We are unique,” Moyosore affirmed.
