As Nigeria’s economy continues to face challenges and many find travel increasingly unaffordable due to rising ticket prices, tourists can now breathe a sigh of relief with the opening of Eami’s Place, an upscale souvenir and gifts store in the heart of Lagos that allows visitors to experience the beauty and lifestyle of various cultures without straining their budgets.


Founded by siblings Edinyanga Okopide and Itoro Okopide shared passion for tourism, beauty, and lifestyle, Edinyanga, who also serves as CEO of a travel and lifestyle company noted st the grand opening recently that with the rising costs of airfare making international travel less accessible, Eami’s Place offers a way for people to connect with their desired destinations and acquire unique items without leaving Nigeria.
Itoro Okopide, a versatile PR practitioner, writer, restaurant critic, and entrepreneur, co-founded Eami’s Place to pursue her love for beauty and hospitality. She highlighted the uniqueness of her luxury hair brand, Bond Hair, which she said was sourced from Asian countries known for their compatibility with Africa’s humidity.
Guests at the grand opening shop for a diverse range of souvenirs, including 100% Asian Bond Hair, bags, South African wines, vintage wines from 2017 and 2018, Arabic artifacts, and items from Europe and other continents.
