Nollywood actress Ekene Umenwa has announced the birth of her first child with a unique and spiritual maternity shoot.
She shared photos on Instagram, recreating the Virgin Mary, expressing her gratitude for the Lord’s mercy and the blessing of motherhood.
Ekene described her pregnancy journey as wonderful and praised the Blessed Trinity and Mother Mary for their guidance and support.
She revealed that a vision inspired her to dress like Mother Mary, whom she deeply reveres, as a way to honour her maternal care and intercession.
“I’m truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was a wonderful experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honour to our Mother Mary, who stood by me throughout. In my humble attempt to honour her maternal care and intercession, I was inspired by a vision she gave me while praying at the grotto. It brings me immense joy to be able to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply”, she wrote.
