Turkish Airlines, Others Shine at Expatriates Business Awards 2025

It was an evening of style, substance, and celebration as The Expatriates Business Awards (TEBA) 2025 lit up the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, recently drawing a high-profile audience from across the globe.

Graced by Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, who delivered the keynote, the event spotlighted Nigeria’s growing multicultural business ecosystem. Obasa hailed TEBA for “championing inclusivity and strengthening Lagos as a hub for global partnerships.”

Top honours went to Turkish Airlines (Expatriate Airline of the Year), Lilian Bach (Diaspora Distinction Award), Riyah Abdul (Diaspora Revelation of the Year), and Danny Green aka 237 TownCryer (Cross-Border Talent of the Year). Others honoured included Avsatel Communications, MACE Industries Ltd., and CCECC.

Among the glamorous guests were Turkish Airlines’ General Manager Lokman Balkan, screen icons Lilian Bach and Ronya Man, Ghanaian broadcaster Riyah Abdul, and Swiss-born cultural enthusiast Janice Udogu, amongst other dignitaries.

Hosted by Rania Elewa and Danny Green, the night featured music, comedy, exhibitions, and cross-cultural displays in a dazzling black-tie setting. TEBA 2025 once again proved to be a premier platform for celebrating international contributions to Nigeria’s economy and cultural fabric.
