Global DJ and philanthropist Florence Otedola, popularly known as Cuppy, is set to headline key moments at Africa Fashion Week London 2026, bringing her signature blend of music, culture and mentorship to the international fashion platform.
Organisers announced that the multi-hyphenate creative will participate in a two-day collaboration, including a DJ workshop on August 17, where she will mentor aspiring talents, and a live performance on August 22 ahead of the event’s flagship 7pm catwalk show.
Cuppy, known for performing on major global stages and for her youth-focused initiatives through the Cuppy Foundation, said her involvement is driven by a desire to inspire the next generation. She noted that joining AFWL is an opportunity to celebrate African creativity on a global stage while supporting emerging DJs and designers.
Founder of AFWL, Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi, described Cuppy’s participation as aligned with the platform’s mission of promoting excellence, innovation and visibility for African talent, particularly through mentorship and industry exposure.
Beyond her performances, Cuppy is also expected to spotlight emerging designers by wearing their creations, further amplifying their visibility to a global audience.
Now in its 16th year, Africa Fashion Week London remains one of the largest showcases of African and African-inspired fashion, drawing designers, buyers and industry stakeholders from across the world.
