Thoughts are different on what the basic essentials of a man’s wardrobe should be, but there are a few things a guy shouldn’t do without. These pieces are often, timeless and understated but they help compliment other pieces in your wardrobe when put together.
1. Plain t- shirt
Although the plain t shirt, constitute a simple staple of men’s wardrobe, they have their place and importance.
Go for a crew neck or the v- neck. If you have long thin neck, then the crew is your thing.
Pair this classic casual top with a pair of jeans for a sporty effect. If you choose a white tee, pair with blue jeans and a pair of khaki if your choice is navy blue.

Can a man truly do without a polo t shirt in his wardrobe? The polo tee is a smart-casual staple that is as versatile as the plain t shirt. It can be dressed up or down as desired. You can fly your shirt over the trouser or have it tucked in. You can pair with a cropped pant, joggers, or a pair of jeans for different effects but there are a few rules to follow.

If you are looking to building a wardrobe where suits are concerned, don’t go experimenting with all sorts. Begin by acquiring navy blue suit. This is the most basic necessity in a man’s wardrobe. Choose a single breasted one and spice it up with different colours of shirts. White still remains the safest and easiest colour of shirt to start with. Stick with white shirt or light shade of pink or blue and of course, wear brown shoes with it at all times.
7 Khakis or chinos
A pair of khaki trousers is like a pencil skirt in a woman’s wardrobe. A fitted pair of khaki pants is a versatile fashion must-have for any well rounded wardrobe.
Because khaki’s are usually neutral pants, they go with just about any colour. In and out of season, white, black, jewel tones generally work well with a pair of khaki pants.

9. White Sneakers
