Omobola Abioye to host Fireside Conversation in Brussels

Founder of Prospect76 Events, Omobola Abioye, has announced plans for the next edition of The Fireside Conversation, an intimate live storytelling event scheduled to hold in Brussels, Belgium, on October 31.

Abioye, a senior IT consultant, event entrepreneur, and community builder, said the initiative was created to provide a safe space for people to share authentic stories about growth, identity, resilience, and self-discovery.

Speaking while reflecting on her 50th birthday milestone, Abioye described the event as a personal mission aimed at encouraging individuals, particularly women, to embrace their journeys and reclaim their voices.
“My birthday wish is for every woman who has been quietly carrying the weight of her unlived life to put it down and pick up her story instead,” she said.

According to her, The Fireside Conversation was born from a desire to create meaningful human connections through storytelling, bringing together people willing to openly discuss the realities of growth, becoming, and navigating life’s uncertainties.
“This year, my birthday gift to myself is a room full of people brave enough to be seen. If that speaks to you, come. The door is open,” she added.
Abioye, who has spent the last eight years building Prospect76 Events across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Nigeria, said her work in event coordination has always been about creating memorable experiences and meaningful impact.
As she marks her golden jubilee, she said she is entering a new phase of life defined by clarity, confidence, and purpose.
“Fifty feels like finally exhaling. It is a season of arriving fully and unapologetically into who I am,” she noted.

Describing the next chapter of her life in three words, “rooted, expansive, and unstoppable”, Abioye said, adding that she remains committed to expanding her influence through community-building initiatives and creating platforms that inspire honest conversations and personal transformation.
