Chiogo, late Dora Akunyili’s daughter, celebrates wedding anniversary
Late Dora Akunyili’s daughter, Chidiogo and her Canadian beau, Andrew Parr, have celebrated their wedding anniversary.
Chiogo shared throwback pictures of their wedding day, and wrote: “We married in the four seasons. Before God, Man, Water, Fire, Trees, Desert, Ancestors, and always before family and friends. It was like we wanted the entire cosmos to reverberate with the news that two stardust had collided in the same place at an opportune time. What were the odds? The odds are us. Look how much we have grown! And the parts of us that have died, and those that are reborn! We are stardust, just like you, just like the very plants, a beautiful dance of seasons. Happy anniversary! @andrewparr #chidandrew #sacredflow #love #divine #blessed #bm2016.
The couple met at a festival in the desert of Nevada, at a time when Chidiogo lived and worked in Geneva, at the World Economic Forum leading the Global Shapers Community across Africa and the Middle East.
Her face recently graced the streets of Los Angeles in a painting done by her sister and renowned visual artist, Njideka Akunyili Crosby.
