Nigerian make-up artist, Lola Maja-Okojevoh has expressed her happiness at working with the veteran actress, Joke Silva, on a movie set.

Lola took to her Instagram page to say that she had looked forward to the opportunity, adding that Aunty Joke is one person she’s always admired.

She then went ahead to narrate their relationship and her experience with the versatile actress.

“See how I’m looking like Miriam Makeba at a certain age.😊 My Aunty is Hotter Than Yours…🤪

“Guys you don’t understand how much working with @ajokesilva means to me…I’ve always admired her, always waited for the chance to work with her. It’s been a running joke between us that every time she wanted lashes I was never in town. But it happened by God’s grace it happened and when it did it was more special than I could have imagined.

“The first day on set, I was busy gisting, then a lightbulb went off… she called my Dad’s name… “Uncle J”… and yup… I literally burst into tears.  I’m such a softie I swear 😭😭😭

“The thing is… our dads were really good friends!! She knows my family well. They used to party together in Brazil every year… I knew her Parents growing up at the parties in our house, but this whole time I didn’t know they were HER parents. You can’t buy those moments, you can’t script it for a movie. The emotion I felt was overwhelming. Aunty Joke has been one of my biggest inspirations (from afar) and now, up close and personal… she’s mine, I claim her!!! I hold the blessing with both hands and I’m never letting go. 🙏🏼🙅🏼‍♀️😁 So lemme say it again for those sitting in the back… in case you didn’t know… yes, I said eeet… MY AUNTY IS FINER THAN YOURS… 🤪😂🥰🤣”
