The colour black represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority. Black is always seen as a formal, elegant, and prestigious colour to wear to any occasion.

Classy black dresses are authoritative and powerful; they evoke strong emotions.

Despite the negative imagery that black brings, it is a preferred colour by designers because it contrasts nicely with most colours, strengthening the effect of the other colours.

In celebration of International Women’s Day today, we present women looking powerful and glorious in some beautifully- crafted black numbers.
