Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom and his second wife, Hadiza Tanko, today celebrates their first wedding anniversary.

The young monarch took to his Instagram page to celebrate his beautiful wife on Sunday with words of affection.

He has had so much fun in the last year, that accounts for why time has flown by so fast.

“Happy 1st Anniversary to my beautiful wife. The past year has been very amazing because I’ve been married to an amazing and loving woman. Truly, time flies when you are having fun that must be why the last year has flown by so fast. We’ve been married for 365 days, and I’ve loved every second of it. Thank you for adding colour to my world. Happy Anniversary to us. Our best years still lie ahead.” He wrote.

The king married his first wife, Olori Aramide Sekinat, in 2003 at a colourful ceremony that had two of Nigeria’s biggest musicians, King Sunny Ade and K1 De Ultimate, on the bandstands, They are blessed with three adorable daughters.
