Popular broadcaster, Tolu Oniru-Demuren has sent out words of comfort to bereaved parents who are going through infant loss.

In a post on Instagram to mark the Infant Loss Awareness Day, the mother of two assured them that they will get through it.  She added that though it might take months or years, but eventually the pain won’t sting so bad.

Toolz and her husband, Captain Demuren experienced infant loss in 2017. Today, they are blessed with two children.

Toolz prayed for God to grant these bereaved parents courage to get through it and also bless them with beautiful babies that will bring them immense joy.

“Giving a big virtual hug to any woman (couple) that has gone through or is going through a painful loss. You’ll get through it. It might take months, maybe years…but eventually the pain won’t sting so bad.

“May God give you the courage to get through it, and may He bless you with beautiful babies that bring you immense joy.

“To my lil Angel – you have 2 baby brothers now, and they have so much energy…keep watching over them. 🕊🕊

In 1988, US President Ronald Reagan declared October as a month to recognise the unique grief of bereaved parents in an effort to demonstrate support to the many families who have suffered such a tragic loss.
