Sexual abuse: Georgina Onuoha decries Kumuyi’s silence, calls for justice for school boy
Actress, Georgina Onuoha has condemned Pastor William Kumuyi’s silence, over an alleged case of sexual abuse of an 11-year-old boarding house student, at Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a post on Instagram, the mother of two wondered why pastor Kumuyi remained mute in a crime against the child, adding that Nigerians needs to start questioning the kind of Christianity that is being practiced in the country.
Georgina then called for justice for the boy.
“How can this be?
A child sent to a Christian boarding school is reduced to a sex object and all forms of abuses and the General Overseer of the Christian school/church remains mute in the face of such repugnant, vile, sickening crimes against this child.
One of the reasons many parents fear sending their kids to boarding school.
This is truly sickening…
This child must get justice. I will keep saying it, it’s high time Nigerians starts questioning the kind of Christianity we practice in that country.
I can’t deal with this acts…” She wrote.
Nigerians on social media have been demanding justice for 11-year-old student, Don Davis Archibong, since his mother, Deborah Okezie, shared a video on her Facebook account.
