Nobody is as precious as a mother – Reno Omokri
Author and lawyer, Reno Omokri has agaieiterated the place and importance of mothers to mankind.
In one of his nuggets on social media, he highlighted the many roles a mother plays including feeding her baby through her umbilical cord; breastfeeding baby after birth, and her unrelenting prayers for success even as an adult.
He then submitted that other than God, nobody is as precious as a mother, adding that nobody is as useless as one who shows ingratitude to their mother.
“Other than God, nobody is as precious as a mother. Her umbilical cord fed you before you were born. Her breasts fed you after you were born. Her prayers fed your success as an adult. Even if the only thing she did for you is giving birth to you, you owe your mother a debt you can never repay. That is why you have motherless babies home, not fatherless babies home. Christ’s disciples abandoned Him. But His mother was with Him till the end! Yoruba say Orisa bi iya kosi. Nobody is as useless as one who shows ingratitude to their mother.”
