Wearing Hijab is my choice, it is deserving of your tolerance – Aisha Yesufu
Today is World Hijab Day and Nigerian Muslim faithful women joined othersaying women in across the globe to mark the day.
Activist, Aisha Yesufu has expressed delight in wearing hijab adding that it is her right and choice.
Posting a picture of herself in a lovely hijab, she wrote: “I wear the hijab and it is my right to.
My choice and it is deserving of your tolerance. You can choose not to respect that choice but you have to tolerate it because it is my choice. I have a right to it just as you have a right to yours

World Hijab Day is an annual event founded by Nazma Khan in 2013. The event takes place on February 1, each year in 140 countries worldwide.
It’s stated purpose is to encourage women of all religions and backgrounds to wear and experience the hijab.
