Valentine gift ideas for him

Forget the flowers and chocolate, and treat the man in your life to an extra special gift this Valentine’s Day. Finding the perfect gift is sometimes difficult, but remember that you can’t go wrong with a thoughtful, personal, and romantic present this special day devoted to all things love.
If you’re looking to give your significant other a truly memorable Valentine’s Day gift, here are a few suggestions

A pair of sneakers

The best Valentine’s Day gift for him is the practical sort, and nothing’s more practical than a fresh pair of everyday sneakers. He’s really not going to want to take these off.

Away weekender

Whether he’s coming to stay at your place for a few nights or heading out on a weekend trip with his buddies, he’s going to want a good suitcase. This one has a padded laptop pocket and an exterior shoe pocket, and it looks refined enough that it can go everywhere from a casual getaway to a work trip.

Men’s shirt

He likes comfort, you like lounging by the water. You’ll both be happy with this Valentine’s Day gift for him: a shirt with a slim fit, a terry cloth lining, a dry pocket for his phone, a bottle pocket, and more. He’ll have everything he needs in one shirt for a day at the beach, though he’ll probably want to wear this shirt all day long.

Tie

This whimsical tie will delight any modern man. He can pair it with a light blue button-down shirt and navy suit for an office-friendly look, or wear it dressed down with a casual chambray shirt and khakis. No matter his staple style, this is one tie he’s sure to reach for again and again.

Multiplayer crew socks

For the professional computer programmer, video game enthusiast, or couch potato in your life, these hilarious mid-calf socks are sure to bring a smile to his face. The blend of cotton, polyester, and spandex combine comfort with a snug fit for the perfect pop of colour and humour. Co-workers and friends alike are sure to get a laugh when they see these peeking out from the bottom of his pants.

Personalised stainless steel collar stays

These stainless steel collar stays are perfect for the man who spends most of his day suited up in the office. Engrave them with his initials, a special message, or an anniversary date so that when he’s working late, he’ll have a subtle reminder that you love him—a lot. The fact that each collar stay is stamped by hand (and therefore not necessarily straight or even) lends an imperfect charm to this personalised gift.

Fashionable watches

Watches are often used as a statement piece for men. Much like women with jewelry, men choose to wear a watch that matches their lifestyle. While those living a more active lifestyle may prefer a waterproof, digital sports watch, men headed to the office or out to meetings all day may appreciate a designer, luxury watch. Choose between digital, automatic, and possibly a skeleton model if your man appreciates a watch’s intricacies.

Cologne

A good-scented cologne can leave a lasting impression on everyone a man encounters, but choosing a cologne is difficult, and that’s why it’s best to already know what brands and scents your Valentine likes. Start by narrowing down the type of scent you want to purchase, such as floral, woody, fresh, or oriental. Then, decide on the strength. A parfum lasts up to half a day, while standard cologne must be reapplied every two hours. If you know of a scent that embodies your partner, then cologne is a great Valentine’s Day gift.
