John Boyega wins Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series at the Golden Globes
John Boyega can now add “Golden Globe winner” to his list of accolades.
During last night’s virtual ceremony, John took home his first-ever Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, where he was nominated for starring as Leroy Logan in Amazon’s anthology series, Small Axe. And for the record, John’s win is a big deal.
Recall that the British-Nigerian actor gave an impassioned speech in support of the Black Lives Matter Movements and expressed a fear that his outspokenness could potentially impact his ability to get work in Hollywood.
