Yesterday, April 17 was Husband Appreciation Day. A day set aside to shower husbands with love, and thank them for everything they do.
Actress, Annie Idibia penned an appreciation note to her husband, singer, songwriter and record label owner, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba.

Posting videos and pictures of fun moments with their children on Instagram, Annie thanked 2Baba for being an incredible father to all of their kids, adding all 7 of them are so blessed to call him daddy.
She also noted that she sees his effort and struggles to be there for everyone. She prayed for love and happiness for him for the rest of his life.

The origins of Husband Appreciation Day are unknown, as is the name of the person who created it. However, some people believe that it was invented as a counterpart to Father’s Day, so that childless husbands could also have a day in their honor, to celebrate all they do for their spouses. Nevertheless, this has become a day dedicated to all husbands for being good husbands, regardless of whether or not they are also fathers.
