Eko Star Film & Tv Awards: Ruth Kadiri ‘thanks’ Mo Abudu, others for ignoring her
Actress and movie maker, Ruth Kadiri has called out organisers of Eko Star Film & Tv Awards, which held in Lagos at the weekend.
Specifically, Ruth called out Mo Abudu Chairman EbonyLife Place, whose company partnered with the Nigerian International Film Summit and the Ministry of Culture & Tourism to celebrated Women in film all across Nigeria.
Ruth was conspicuously absent amongst those celebrated.
In a post on Instagram, the actress stated that she will no be pressured, rather she will keep working hard.
While congratulating all those who were recognised, she however called on those who control the film industry, mainly women to do things right or not do it at all.
She wrote: “”I will not be pressured. I will keep working hard. @lagosstategovt @moabudu @ijayonah @nifsummit thanks for overlooking me and congrats to everyone who got recognized. 🎤 the film industry is controlled by women, so if you’re going to do it, do it right or don’t do it at all.”
