6 Essentials for a Quick Makeup Fix

Have you ever been out and about and needed a quick makeup fix? Have you also, ever wanted to prune down your makeup bag to essentials that you can use anywhere? Whether you’re an on-the-go type of girl, or just need a quick makeup refresh that won’t take much time, there are some essentials to have on hand in your makeup bag, to quickly freshen up your look and continue looking fabulous all day.
The best part is that, these top essential items can fit any budget, while taking up very little space in your bag.

Makeup Wipes
Mkeup wipes are absolutely essential for any makeup bag. While we love to have these at home to use to clean off eye makeup before a proper cleansing at the end of the night, they’re super convenient to have on hand during the day. Makeup wipes can help remove any smudges that may occur during the day. If you need a quick refresher, a swipe of a makeup wipe can help remove oil and product build-up, leaving skin feeling clean without stress.
Look for wipes that are safe for use around the eye area and be gentle when using. There is no need for scrubbing when using a makeup wipe, just wipe gently for better results.

  1. Concealer

A concealer is a great addition to a makeup bag because it has so many uses. For instance, if you have dark circles, dab on some concealer underneath the eyes to make you look more awake. For a pimple, apply a thin coat of concealer to tone down the affected area. Concealer is particularly useful because it can be used effectively to spot-treat areas, rather than re-apply an entirely new face of makeup. Concealer often comes in small tubes and is easy to apply. Look for one that matches your skin colour.

  1. Tinted Lip Balm

One of the worst feelings is having dry skin, especially chapped lips. A tinted lip balm is a great option to have on hand in your makeup bag. They come in a variety of colours and some can stand in as lipstick. Because it is a balm, it will provide the much-needed moisture for your lips, while also adding a bit of shine and colour. Tinted lip balms are a great option for on-the-go because it save you the stress of always reapplying your lipstick, yet provides the medicinal benefits of a lip balm.

  1. BRONZER

Bronzer is magical. It works wonders in making you look well-rested. Use it year-round for a healthy-looking glow. It should be used very sparingly on the high planes of your face, where the sun would naturally hit you, for an instant glow.

  1. MASCARA

A true makeup essential. Mascara and a good lash curler are magical in making you look more awake and youthful in a matter of seconds. It should never be found missing in your makeup bag.

  1. LIPGLOSS

Last but not least, if you love shiny lips, a pretty gloss will complete your makeup wardrobe. It looks pretty on everyone and is easy to apply without a mirror or lip liner. Just pop it on.
