Actress Mbong Amata refutes ex-husband’s claims of being missing

America based Nollywood actress and model, Mbong Amata has surfaced on social media to refute claims by her ex-husband that she is missing.
Jeta, who is a filmmaker had in a post on June 17 stated that he has not seen nor heard from Mbong since January this year, adding that no one seems to know anything and it’s affecting their daughter, Veno.

In a series of videos on Monday, Mbong however debunked claims that she is missing, saying that she is actually on social media detox.
According to her, those who know her knows that she sometimes takes time off social media. She added that she is doing fine and nothing is wrong with her.
The 36-year-old wondered why the Jeta would declare her missing when he was the one that denied him access to their daughter.
According to her, Jeta fought her ‘to a standstill’ to gain custody of their daughter, who will be 13 in August.
Speaking about her daughter, Mbong said her relationship with her daughter is perfect and no one could ever love her daughter the way she does. She added that Jeta has restricted her access to her daughter by deciding when to allow her be a parent to her daughter, so she decided she wouldn’t continue sitting on the fence as a parent unless she’s allowed to be a full parent.
Recall that on June 17, Amata wrote
on his private Instagram account, “Can somebody please just ask why Mbong has gone missing from social media all year? No one seems to know anything and it’s affecting my daughter, that no one would tell us”.
“She wants to see her mother. If she is not well, Veno wants to go and be by her side and we need to know to stop worrying”.
